Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with advanced surgical equipment and sterile supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures with specialized instrumentation and equipment
- Maintain sterile environments and implement aseptic techniques
- Operate and troubleshoot complex surgical technology systems
- Coordinate equipment sterilization and inventory management
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless surgical workflows
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of scrub experience in general surgery
- Proficiency with advanced surgical equipment (robotics, endoscopes)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to cover various surgical specialties
