Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with provided sterile equipment and instrumentation
- Assist surgeons during procedures using advanced surgical technology
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce infection control protocols
- Operate provided electromechanical surgical equipment
- Inventory and sterilize provided surgical instruments per standards
- Collaborate with surgical team for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 2+ years operating room experience with provided equipment
- Proficiency in sterile processing and instrument management
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and anatomy
- Ability to operate provided electrosurgical units and imaging systems
- BLS certification required
- Strong attention to detail in sterile technique
