Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Triage patients based on acuity level and medical necessity
- Initiate emergency interventions for critical cases
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years ER/Triage experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong assessment and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-stress environments
