Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging all surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Operate advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems and endoscopic devices
- Manage sterile processing and inventory of surgical supplies
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with team to streamline surgical workflows and optimize efficiency
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
- Proficiency with surgical equipment including cameras, drills, and power tools
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work in fast-paced emergency situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS certification
