Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and functioning correctly.
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments to maintain accurate counts before, during, and after procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes in the operating room environment.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
- Transport patients safely to and from the operating suite.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be willing and able to complete our paid on-the-job training program.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient mobility.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
