Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields according to protocol
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrumentation and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Handle surgical equipment sterilization and inventory management
- Document perioperative procedures accurately in electronic records
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless case flow
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience
- BLS certification with current ACLS preferred
- Familiarity with orthopedic/general surgery instrumentation
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced surgical environments
