Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Manage surgical inventory and sterilization processes per OSHA standards
- Document case details and equipment usage in electronic health records
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless surgical workflows
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 2+ years of surgical tech experience in hospital OR setting
- Proficiency in endoscopic, orthopedic, and general surgery instruments
- Knowledge of sterile processing and infection control standards
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
