Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain accurate instrument counts and sterile documentation
- Scrub and sterilize surgical equipment and instruments
- Transport patients and equipment safely between areas
- Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 1+ years of recent surgical tech experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
