Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone/video triage using EHR systems
- Make critical clinical determinations for emergency prioritization
- Collaborate with physicians on complex case management
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Support disaster response protocols during peak demand
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Proficiency with Epic or EHR triage modules
- Exceptional critical thinking under pressure
- Spanish bilingual proficiency (strongly preferred)
- Telehealth triage certification (or willingness to obtain)
