Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures as requested
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce aseptic techniques
- Count and document surgical supplies accurately
- Transport patients and specimens safely
- Scrub in for diverse surgical specialties
- Collaborate with RNs and anesthesia teams
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Graduation from accredited surgical tech program
- OR experience preferred (training provided for new grads)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Oklahoma surgical tech license (or ability to obtain)
