Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols
- Count and document all surgical instruments and supplies
- Position patients and assist with draping and prep
- Handle and dispose of biohazardous materials safely
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent surgical tech experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of sterile processing and OSHA regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Availability to start immediately
