Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile fields and surgical equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control protocols
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments pre/post-surgery
- Prepare and transport patients to/from operating rooms
- Manage sterilization of instruments and equipment
- Document all surgical activities and patient information
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year surgical tech experience preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced emergency situations
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
