Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Handle surgical specimens and maintain accurate documentation
- Operate sterilization equipment and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory and restock OR supplies between cases
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless case turnover
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent surgical tech experience
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in major surgical specialties (e.g., orthopedic, general)
- Pass background check and drug screening
