Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, sterile fields, and surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument handling
- Maintain sterile environments per OSHA guidelines
- Inventory and manage surgical equipment/supplies
- Document procedural details accurately
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- 1+ years OR experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification mandatory
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours
- NY State surgical tech license
- Strong attention to detail
