Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before/after procedures
- Transport patients and specimens safely between departments
- Operate surgical equipment including cameras and monitors
- Document procedural details accurately in medical records
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 1+ years recent OR experience preferred
- BLS certification and surgical gowning proficiency
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours with frequent lifting
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Flexibility for day/evening/weekend assignments
- Pass criminal background and health screenings
