Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with advanced surgical equipment and sterile instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures using provided specialized tools
- Maintain sterile environments following strict protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment (laparoscopy, robotics, etc.)
- Manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- 2+ years of operating room experience
- Proficiency with provided surgical equipment (robotics, endoscopy, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work in high-pressure surgical environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continuous education in surgical technology
