Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and instruments for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure compliance with OSHA/JCAHO standards
- Operate advanced surgical equipment including endoscopic devices and robotic systems
- Inventory and manage surgical supplies with our automated tracking system
- Train on new equipment quarterly through our continuing education program
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent surgical tech experience in general surgery
- Proficiency with endoscopic and robotic surgical equipment
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and on-call rotations
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
