Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during invasive surgical procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms by arranging sterile equipment and instruments.
- Maintain the sterile field during surgical operations.
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures.
- Transport patients to and from the operating suite with care.
- Ensure the operating room is clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or certification eligibility.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or ASC setting.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in high-stress environments.
