Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments under strict aseptic protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain inventory and sterilization of surgical equipment
- Document case details accurately in electronic health records
- Adhere to OSHA and Joint Commission safety standards
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless surgical workflows
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred (training provided)
