Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures under direct supervision
- Prepare and sterilize operating rooms, equipment, and instruments
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce safety protocols
- Manage surgical inventory and supply chain logistics
- Document procedural details accurately in electronic health records
- Transport patients safely between departments
- Participate in continuing education and skills workshops
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Completion of accredited Surgical Tech program or willingness to complete company training
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided upon hire)
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift 25+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
