As a key member of our operating room staff, you'll collaborate with top-tier surgeons in state-of-the-art facilities while having the option to handle administrative tasks remotely. We offer hybrid scheduling with 3 on-site surgical days per week and 2 remote days for documentation and prep work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument passing and wound closure
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce safety protocols
- Document surgical cases electronically during remote workdays
- Inventory management and supply ordering via remote systems
- Train on new surgical technologies via virtual platforms
- Participate in case preparation remotely through digital imaging review
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- Experience with minimally invasive procedures preferred
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration
- Ability to travel to St. Petersburg facility 3 days/week
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Valid Florida surgical tech license
