Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures according to sterile technique.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and sponges, anticipating their needs.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs during surgery.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Proactively manage and restock surgical supply inventories.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hospital or surgical center setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and anatomy.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in dynamic environments.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
