Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument passing and sterile field maintenance
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies
- Manage surgical instrument inventory and sterilization protocols
- Document surgical cases accurately and maintain electronic records
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
- Participate in continuous training on new surgical techniques and technologies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and sterile technique adherence
- Basic computer skills for documentation systems
