Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical equipment in accordance with hospital protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory of surgical instruments and equipment
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of all surgical tools
- Document perioperative procedures accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency in sterile processing and equipment handling
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS certification
