Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and comply with infection control protocols
- Manage surgical equipment and inventory within the OR
- Transport patients and specimens safely and efficiently
- Document procedural information accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent surgical tech experience
- Knowledge of sterile processing and instrumentation
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ohio state license (or willingness to obtain)
