As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the operating room, ensuring surgical procedures are performed safely and efficiently. Our state-of-the-art facility is looking for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by arranging instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and materials.
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and sterilization protocols.
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments to prevent retained items.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including washing and marking incision sites.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the nurse or surgeon.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) required.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of OR experience preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
