Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with provided surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of provided surgical equipment
- Monitor inventory of provided supplies and equipment
- Document procedural activities in compliance with hospital standards
- Collaborate with surgical team to optimize equipment utilization
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- 1+ years of operating room experience
- Proficiency with provided surgical equipment (scopes, monitors, retractors)
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work efficiently with provided instrumentation systems
- BLS certification required
- Commitment to using provided equipment per manufacturer guidelines
