Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical equipment and instruments following strict protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Set up operating rooms with specialized equipment (provided by us)
- Monitor inventory and equipment functionality, reporting maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- 2+ years of recent OR experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing and equipment handling
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical environments
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- BLS/CPR certification
