Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments per case specifications
- Assist surgeons with equipment and sterile supplies during procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and enforce OR protocols
- Manage surgical inventory and equipment sterilization
- Document procedural activities in electronic health records
- Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless transitions
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Familiarity with Da Vinci robotic systems preferred
- Ability to work 24-32 hours weekly with flexible scheduling
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
