Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assemble and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques throughout procedures
- Document surgical case information accurately
- Manage inventory and restock supplies post-procedure
- Adhere to OSHA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification from accredited Surgical Tech program preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Commitment to maintaining sterile environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
