Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields before surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and sterile supplies to surgeons during operations
- Assist with patient positioning and draping
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Inventory and sterilize surgical equipment post-procedure
- Document case activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- No prior surgical tech experience necessary (training provided)
- CPR certification (will be provided if not currently certified)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and sterile technique
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
