Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields before procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Assist with patient positioning and draping
- Count and track surgical instruments/equipment
- Transport specimens for laboratory analysis
- Restock and sterilize equipment post-procedure
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
