Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments according to protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environment throughout surgical cases
- Process and sterilize equipment using autoclaves and sterilization systems
- Document case details in electronic health records
- Inventory and restock operating room supplies
- Transport patients safely to/from surgical suites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to complete paid on-the-job training
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
