Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Operate surgical equipment and sterilization systems
- Document procedures and inventory management
- Collaborate remotely with surgical teams via telehealth platforms
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience in acute care setting
- Experience with robotic surgery systems preferred
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work effectively in hybrid remote/on-site model
- Basic telehealth platform proficiency
- TN state license or eligibility
