Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, holding retractors, and managing sterile fields
- Coordinate remote case preparation via telehealth platforms for pre-operative planning
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control protocols
- Document procedures accurately using our integrated EMR system
- Inventory and manage surgical supplies across remote and on-site locations
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience with diverse surgical specialties
- Proficiency in sterile processing and aseptic technique
- Experience with telehealth platforms for remote case coordination
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and surgical procedures
- Ability to thrive in hybrid work environments with self-discipline
- Basic EMR/EHR documentation experience
