Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging sterile instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Handle specimens for laboratory analysis and sterilize reusable equipment
- Monitor patient vital signs and document surgical events accurately
- Manage inventory of surgical supplies and restock between cases
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety regulations

Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year recent surgical tech experience in general OR setting
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Knowledge of sterile processing and instrument sterilization
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and call
- Successful completion of background and drug screening
