Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and sterile environments
- Count and track surgical instruments, sponges, and equipment
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Document procedure details and equipment usage
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Graduate from accredited surgical technology program
- Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing and surgical procedures
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Current BLS/CPR certification
