Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and sterile supplies
- Maintain sterile field and ensure aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operations
- Prepare and transport patients to/from operating rooms
- Scrub and gown for surgical procedures efficiently
- Manage sterile processing and inventory of surgical supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year recent surgical tech experience preferred
- Graduate from accredited surgical technology program
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
