Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Account for surgical instruments and supplies pre/post-procedure
- Transport patients and specimens safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with nurses and anesthesia teams for seamless care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Graduate from accredited surgical tech program
- Minimum 1 year OR experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification mandatory
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Tennessee state license or eligible immediately
