Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure aseptic protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument handling and supplies
- Maintain sterile fields and count surgical instruments accurately
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
- Document procedures and maintain equipment per hospital standards
- Participate in inventory management and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience preferred
- BLS certification and NJ state license
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
