Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical records to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a sterile and safe clinical environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the United States (FL or MI).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel between Florida and Detroit locations for flexible shift coverage.
