Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings (ICU, ER, MedSurg, Telemetry)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in shift handoffs and interdisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license or compact state license
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- ACLS, BLS, and relevant certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC, Cerner)
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical environments
