Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition or critical emergencies.
- Document patient progress, clinical notes, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, disease management, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a specialty setting (ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or ER preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical agility test.
