Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in diverse settings including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Adapt quickly to new environments and clinical systems
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Alaska or compact state
- 2+ years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP preferred)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
