Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg units
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document EHRs accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Implement patient safety initiatives
- Participate in rapid response codes
- Maintain infection control standards
- Provide discharge education to patients/families
Qualifications
- Active AK RN license or compact state license
- 2+ years of acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments
- Excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility for 13-week assignments
