Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound management with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and document assessments in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
- Adhere to infection control and safety regulations at all times
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
- Participate in facility orientation and ongoing training initiatives
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in specialty area (ICU, ER, Telemetry)
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS or TNCC preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and healthcare systems
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
