Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care across various units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Adapt to flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holiday rotations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and treatments accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Participate in orientation and training for new assignments
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
- 1+ years of recent acute care experience
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights/weekends
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications
- Strong documentation skills in EMR systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
