Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including ER, ICU, and med-surg units
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Adapt quickly to different healthcare environments and patient populations
Qualifications
- Active unrestricted RN license in California (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS, ACLS, and any specialty-specific certifications required
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or higher)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
