Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Utilize telehealth technologies for remote patient monitoring and consultations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Provide mentorship to local staff during assignment transitions
- Adhere to agency-specific protocols and facility-specific policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and any specialty-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Flexibility to adapt to new healthcare environments quickly
- Strong communication skills for remote team collaboration
- Valid driver's license for travel between facilities
