Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units (ICU, ER, Med-Surg, Telemetry)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and patient safety initiatives
- Adapt quickly to diverse healthcare environments and patient populations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for specialty units
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
